Half a century after the exhibition at the Dynamic Museum in 1972, Picasso returned to Senegal in April this year. The new exhibition, in Dakar’s Museum of Black civilisations, was the result of close Franco-Senegalese collaboration. We look back at the organisation of this extraordinary event.
