Malaysia digitises Employment Pass process

To simplify and modernise the historic “in person” process, the Employment Pass and Professional Visit Pass application processes can now be conducted online via the ESD online system.

Where applicable, the designated company contact person is required to be present for the appointment, but Employment Pass and Professional Visit Pass applicants are not required to attend.
